Full-Stack (Java+React) Engineer

<div>For our client in Berlin, we are looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer&nbsp;</strong>with a strong Frontend focus to join a long-term project. You will work on enhancing the client’s Property Hub platform, introducing AI-driven features into existing products, and potentially contributing to the development of new AI-powered solutions. This role is frontend-heavy (~70% Frontend / ~30% Backend) and requires strong autonomy, ownership, and the ability to work independently in a distributed, international team.</div><div><br></div><div>Location: Berlin, Germany (100% Remote)<br>Project Language: English<br>Start Date: ASAP<br>Duration: Until end of June 2026 (with possible extension)<br>Engagement: Full-time, Contract / B2B</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Enhance and extend the functionality of the client’s Property Hub platform</li><li>Design and implement AI-driven features in existing frontend applications</li><li>Contribute to the development of new AI-powered products where applicable</li><li>Develop scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using Micro Frontend architecture</li><li>Collaborate with backend teams to integrate services built with Java / Kotlin / Spring Boot</li><li>Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making</li><li>Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across the frontend codebase</li><li>Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in an Agile environment</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Must-Have Skills &amp; Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Senior-level experience as a Software Engineer</li><li>Strong autonomy and ability to deliver tasks independently</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership</li><li>Frontend (Primary – ~70%)</li><li>Strong experience with React and TypeScript</li><li>Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend architectures</li><li>Ability to independently handle frontend tasks of low to mid complexity</li><li>Backend (Secondary – ~30%)</li><li>Solid experience with Java and/or Kotlin</li><li>Experience building and consuming Spring Boot microservices</li><li>Ability to independently deliver mid-complexity backend tasks</li><li>Experience working with AWS</li><li>General understanding of DevOps practices and cloud-based deployments</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Nice to Have</strong></div><ul><li>Experience working on AI-driven or AI-enabled products</li><li>Strong proactivity and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Previous experience in distributed or fully remote teams</li></ul><div><br></div>
