You will work on business-critical features, integrations, and APIs, collaborating closely with a cross-functional Agile team on a product used in real-world financial scenarios.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Details</strong></div><div>Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (office in city centre)</div><div>Employment Type: Full-time, remote</div><div>Start Date: ASAP</div><div>Language Requirements: English — B2 or higher</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><div>Design and develop new features in a Python- and Java-based in-store lending solution</div><div>Implement and maintain business logic and backend APIs for front-end applications</div><div>Develop and support integrations with third-party systems</div><div>Collaborate closely with backend developers, mobile developers, QA engineers, and Scrum Master</div><div>Share knowledge, best practices, and technical insights within the team</div><div>Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Requirements</strong></div><div>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</div><div>3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development</div><div>Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles</div><div>Experience with reactive programming (WebFlux), PostgreSQL, and R2DBC</div><div>Proven experience containerizing applications using Docker</div><div>Strong background in relational database design (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar)</div><div>Experience working with Jira, Bitbucket, GitLab</div><div>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team</div><div>Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Nice to Have</strong></div><div>Java development experience, especially with Spring Boot</div><div>Experience building scalable, high-availability backend systems</div><div>Exposure to fintech, lending, or financial platforms</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
