- The Role:This role is for a Personal Support Worker or caregiver providing home care for clients with medical illnesses and age-related complications.
- The Person:The person will provide personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, ambulation and transporting support, companionship, shopping and errands, and documentation/charting.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has a Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent, NACC certification, current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it, a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
- NACC Certified
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
