Job Description
The position of Technical Delivery Manager - Data is really important to us.
This is a new role in our Data Services & Reporting (DS&R) function and a great opportunity for a proactive, skilled individual to make a significant impact to the value and success of the function.
DS&R consists of Data Engineers and Data Analysts and provides services across all divisions, departments and global regions with the Radius Group. Collectively we create insight and analysis capabilities built on modelled datasets in our Data Warehouse fed by data pipelines from source systems.Â
As Technical Delivery Manager you will sit in the heart of the team, bringing new projects to life through business engagement and process analysis, managing projects and stakeholders throughout the delivery process and supporting the wider team with smaller deliveries. You will own the DS&R project roadmap and agile scrum methodology.
The backbone of the role is Project Delivery with elements of Business Analyst, Product Owner and Business Partner skillsets.Â
The successful applicant will have experience in technical or digital project management (with bonus points for data experience) and will be able to influence and shape the role within this brief.
This role is based from our Radius Campus head office in Crewe, Cheshire. It is an outstanding working space, built for collaboration. The onsite facilities are excellent, including gym, changing rooms, café, barista bar, and multiple breakout areas.
What you'll be doing...

- Supporting and mentoring team members to further sharpen their delivery focus and develop a more product-orientated mindset through your expertise in delivery and agile techniques.
- Owning and managing the DS&R project roadmap, project prioritisation & delivery processes and agile scrum methodologies.
What we're looking for...
- You will have demonstratable experience of delivery management, project planning, agile methodologies and stakeholder management, with a proven focus on technical projects
- Be analytical and critical in your thinking; rigorous in the quality and accuracy of your work and curious to understand the business that sits in front of the data we manage and transform.
- Be comfortable working autonomously and pro-actively, connecting and engaging with teams and stakeholders at all levels within Radius.
What you can expect from us...
Your impact on Radius will be rewarded with the opportunity to develop and progress your career in many directions.
You’ll also have access to our competitive reward and benefits package, which includes:
- Pension
- Life assurance
- Employee fuel card scheme
- Electric Vehicle scheme
