  • The Role:This role is for a software engineer focused on verification and validation of safety-critical avionics display products.

About the role

Join the Avionics R&D software department to strengthen the verification and validation software colleagues.

As a V&V software engineer you’ll be responsible to support the testing and review activities of our projects trough rigorous testing and verification processes. Your passion for software testing and commitment to excellence will drive our avionics display products to meet and exceed the industry standards.

Your responsibilities

  • You’ll collaborate closely with the development engineers and the other V&V engineers to create and execute the necessary test setups and procedures.

  • You follow the internal processes which are tailored to the V&V of safety-critical avionics software.

  • You analyze the software requirements, create the appropriate test strategies and develop test cases and procedures in line with the existing framework and standards.

  • You perform review activities that assures the safety of our display products.

  • You actively contribute to the improvement and automation of the test processes.

  • You take ownership, together with the other members of the project team, to realize the product within time, budget and quality.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, or equivalent by experience.

  • You have knowledge of C and Python.

  • You have knowledge of basic measuring equipment, i.e. a digital volt meter and digital oscilloscope.

  • If you are experienced in DO 178V, RTOS and embedded systems, these are advantages.

  • Your attention to detail and an analytical mindset will be key.

  • You can express yourself fluently in English.
