About the role:
As our Senior Product Manager – Capital (Asset Finance & Equipment Line), you will lead the end-to-end strategy, performance, and ongoing development of our capital products. You’ll balance commercial goals with customer impact, ensuring strong product-market fit, sustainable growth, and seamless operations. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Credit, Risk, Tech, Design, and Leadership teams, you will play a key role in scaling our products and delivering smarter funding solutions to SMEs.
What you’ll do:

Own and drive the product roadmap for Asset Finance and Equipment Line, ensuring initiatives align with Shift’s growth strategy

Take accountability for product performance across financial, operational, and customer metrics

Identify opportunities to optimize pricing, processes, eligibility, segmentation, and lifecycle performance

Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Operations to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient products

Work with Design and Tech to create intuitive, engaging experiences that drive product adoption and retention

Partner closely with Sales and divisional leaders to align product capabilities with market needs

Keep product documentation, workflows, and policy definitions accurate across systems and teams

Lead strategic portfolio planning, including investment prioritization and commercial modeling

Monitor and manage product risks, serving as an escalation point when needed
-
Leverage insights from customers, brokers, and channels to continuously evolve and strengthen our offering
What you’ll have:
-
7+ years’ experience in product management within financial services, fintech, lending, or payments
-
Strong commercial acumen, including knowledge of unit economics and financial modeling
-
Experience with credit policy, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements

A proven record of leading complex initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
-
Confidence in cross-functional environments (Sales, Credit, Ops, Tech, Legal)

Strong discipline with documentation and keen attention to detail

Experience enhancing financial products through innovative technologies, models, or approaches (advantageous)

Understanding of SME lending and business finance (highly regarded)

A bias for action, results, and continuous improvement
