About the team
This is a functional role. Reporting to the Director Corporate IT.
Your mission
We are looking for a dedicated specialist to take full ownership of the IT infrastructure and security operations for our Swedish office.
Responsibilities
- IT Administration & Support: Ensure the seamless operation of workstations (Windows, macOS, Linux) and local office infrastructure (Wi-Fi, LAN, VC).
- User Operations: Manage the full employee lifecycle regarding IT, including hardware provisioning, account setup (onboarding), and access revocation (offboarding).
- Information Security: Implement and monitor cybersecurity standards (MFA, disk encryption, OS updates). In the defense sector, security is our highest priority.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and licenses, manage procurement, and handle service/warranty cases with vendors.
- HQ Coordination: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Swedish team, collaborating with our global IT & Security teams in Germany to align local operations with global standards.
Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS (Linux experience is a significant plus).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- English level: B2 or higher for effective daily communication with colleagues in Germany.
- Security-first mindset: A proactive approach to identifying risks and a high sense of responsibility.
- Independence: Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve technical issues autonomously.
Nice to have
- Experience with MDM tools (Intune, Jamf) or Identity Providers (Okta/SSO).
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) for task automation.
- Background in supporting engineering teams or working within the defense/international sector.
