<p>This role sits at the heart of our product creation process, owning the end‑to‑end development of accessories and ensuring they meet Gymshark’s standards for quality, performance, sustainability, and compliance.</p>

<p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.</strong></p>
<div>
<p>As Product Developer, you’ll lead and manage the accessories product development process from concept through to final sign‑off, ensuring products are delivered <strong>on time, to spec, and to the highest standards</strong>.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Owning and managing the <strong>product development critical path</strong>, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met and proactively addressing any risks or delays.</li>
<li>Leading the <strong>technical development</strong> of accessories, including construction, fit, and overall product make‑up.</li>
<li>Collaborating closely with <strong>Design, Fit, Colour, Raw Materials, Quality, and Sourcing</strong> teams to ensure seamless cross‑functional alignment.</li>
<li>Acting as the <strong>technical point of contact</strong> for all assigned products, resolving issues efficiently and maintaining clear communication across teams.</li>
<li>Ensuring all products meet <strong>Gymshark quality standards</strong>, safety requirements, and legal and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Verifying that products align with <strong>performance and sustainability claims</strong>.</li>
<li>Partnering with <strong>vendors and suppliers</strong> to ensure technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.</li>
<li>Managing and maintaining accurate <strong>technical documentation</strong>, including tech packs, samples, testing results, and development records.</li>
<li>Providing regular, clear updates on development progress, risks, and key decisions to your manager and stakeholders.</li>

<p><strong>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.</strong></p>
<h4>Essential Skills & Experience</h4>
<ul>

<div>Strong technical knowledge of <strong>accessories construction, fit, and product development</strong>.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Solid understanding of <strong>accessories regulations, safety requirements, and testing standards</strong>.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Proven experience managing <strong>product development timelines and critical paths</strong>.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Good technical awareness of related development processes, including <strong>colour development, raw materials, and quality</strong>.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Familiarity with <strong>sustainability practices</strong>, compliance standards, and performance claims.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Experience working cross‑functionally with <strong>Design, Sourcing, Production, and Quality</strong> teams.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Ability to provide <strong>clear, accurate status reporting</strong>.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Proficiency in <strong>PLM systems, Excel</strong>, and other relevant product.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office Suite</strong>. development tools.</div>
