Frontend Developer (Vue.js/Nuxt.js)

• Who we’re looking for: An experienced Software Engineer with a proven ability to work with Vue.js and Nuxt

• Where you’ll work: This role will be based in Cape Town, you'll be part of our global team, collaborating with colleagues and serving customers across the UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, and beyond. Our hybrid approach offers flexibility with team connection in our Cape Town office 3 days a week

Day to day this role will

• Help to design and build new features within our UX/UI Team

• Integrate to third-party services and APIs

• Perform code reviews for other Engineers and provide thoughtful feedback

• Work with Product & Design to scope, define and estimate work

• Maintain the high standards of our codebase

• Support other team members including regular Pairing sessions

What we’re looking for

• Experience developing with Nuxt/Vue.js

• Experience with PHP/Laravel

• Experience with Tailwind CSS

• Experience with Storybook

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, as you will be liaising with internal and external customers on a daily basis

• Using version control such as git and branching patterns such as git-flow

• The ability to work well in fast-paced environments

It’s not essential, but we’d love to hear about it if you have experience with

• AWS services

• DataDog

• Designing efficient SQL queries and schemas

• Test-Driven Development

• Working with high performance systems at scale

• Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Leveraging benefits of using AI (we use Cursor and Gemini), whilst aware of potential pitfalls
