Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and the administration of employee benefits across North America, EMEA, and APAC. The position ensures compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations while providing high-quality support to employees and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of hands-on payroll and benefits experience and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Mount Pleasant office in Vancouver, with three in-office days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare and administer full-cycle semi-monthly salaried payroll for North America,

Review and reconcile payroll register, reports, and general ledgers entries, partnering with Finance to ensure accurate accounting

Ensure compliance with applicable payroll legislation across North America, including taxes, garnishments, and statutory deductions

Administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, COBRA, and retirement plans (401(k)/ RRSP)

Manage benefit enrolments, life events, changes, termination, serving as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries

Liaise with benefit providers, brokers, and payroll vendors to ensure accurate deductions, remittances, and timely invoice reconciliation

Support month-end, year-end, and audit activities, including T4s, W-2’s, ROEs, benefits reporting, and regulatory filing (ACA, PCORI, WCB, Employer Health Tax)
What You’ll Bring:

PCP certification or working towards these certifications
-
Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

2+ years of experience in payroll and benefits
-
Working knowledge of North American payroll practices and benefit regulations (e.g ACA, 401(k), RRSP, WCB, Employer Health Tax)

Strong Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving Skills

High attention to details, confidentiality, and organizational skills

Experience with payroll systems (eg. Payworks, ADP WFN) and advanced Excel skills
