V2X is seeking a Technical Writer to support a cybersecurity project by creating, editing, organizing, and presenting technical documentation and compliance artifacts. 

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain cybersecurity compliance controls, documentation, and supporting artifacts to assist with capture planning and project requirements.
  • Gather, develop, edit, and format technical information and documentation to support cybersecurity compliance and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with system engineers, architects, and other project team members to understand technical designs, document how cybersecurity controls are implemented, and capture the supporting compliance evidence.
  • Collaborate with project team members to gather information and ensure materials are clear, accurate, and professionally presented.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• IAT II certification (Security+ or better) required.
• Eligibility to Obtain and Maintain a Public Trust/NACI Clearance required.

Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical writing or similar skillset.
• Familiarity with information technology and cyber security concepts and technology

 

Skills:
• Working knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity concepts, with the ability to collaborate with system engineers and architects to document technical compliance with security controls.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments is preferred, but not required.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $60,000.00 – $80,000.00
