  • The Role: A senior analytics manager role leading a small team in Treasury to deliver financial analytics for ledger and safeguarding functions in a regulated FinTech.
  • The Person: Lead a team of analysts to curate datasets, build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards, perform reconciliations and automate controls, and liaise with treasury stakeholders to reduce cost and risk.
  • Requirements: Requires 5+ years as an analyst or analytics engineer, 1+ years leading others, advanced SQL, Python/R, statistical grounding, and familiarity with DBT and data modelling.

Job Description

Due to continued and rapid growth, we’re on the hunt for a Senior Analytics Manager to join us in Treasury, leading the analytics function in our Ledger and Safeguarding teams. The role is located in Shoreditch, London.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a team of 3+ analysts responsible for

    • Curating datasets, surfacing metrics, sizing opportunities, and deep dive analysis

    • Building and maintaining critical data pipelines and dashboards

    • Performing data reconciliations, hunting down and explaining discrepancies, and building controls to automate these 

  • Liaising with FX, Liquidity and Operations teams to understand how to improve your teams’ processes to achieve lower costs and risks and these areas

  • You’ll be expected to help stakeholders shape and understand what they want and need, and to help the team shape their work to fit that need

  • You’ll be hands on with your team, leading by example and demonstrating best practice
     

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience as an analyst or analytics engineer and 1+ years leading others (can be overlapping)

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Mathematical background with a solid grounding in statistics

  • Advanced SQL

  • Python/R

  • Able to write clean code, build efficient data pipelines, and coach these behaviours in others

  • Proven stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstration of impact/going above and beyond basic role requirements

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with DBT

  • Data modelling in a warehouse context

  • Experience working in a highly-regulated and audited environment

  • Experience working with Financial data and ledgers

  • Salary: £100,000 - £125,000

  • Company Restricted Stock Units
