Job Description

Colliers Urban Planning are looking for a Junior Consultant to join our Property & Economics team in the Perth office in a full-time graduate role.

This role is your entry point into Colliers’ Consultancy Career Stream—designed for curious, analytical, and collaborative graduates who want to build a career as a trusted advisor in property, economics, and urban development.

You’ll join a nationally connected team enhanced by our Property & Economics team's leading data intelligence and market insights. Our combined capability empowers asset owners, developers, retailers, and investors to make confident, evidence‑based location and development decisions across retail, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

What You’ll Do

Every day will be different, and over time, you will have broader opportunities. Initially, you will report directly to a director and be a key contributor to a range of client projects, including:

  • Researching, analysing, and compiling a range of qualitative and quantitative data generally relating to trade areas, competitive and demographic analysis, population and spending forecasts, financial modelling, as well as economic impacts across a variety of property types.
  • Undertaking a broad range of reporting activities with diverse requirements.
  • Working with a range of different blue-chip clients, where you’ll have the opportunity to evolve both your client and consulting skills.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Property Economics or a related field.
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrably strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction, apply initiative, and work independently.
  • A ‘team player’ approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong concern for accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your output to meet required deadlines.
