Job Description:

As the Product Manager for Life & Annuities you will own roadmap execution, and cross‑functional alignment across DXC’s L&A portfolio and with a deep understanding of carrier needs for modernization and digital experience. This role blends product leadership, domain expertise, and strong execution in a fast‑moving SAFe Agile environment. You will champion Product Management best practices to deliver solutions that drive measurable value for L&A carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Leadership:

  • Serve as the Product Manager for the Life and Annuities, owning the end-to-end release lifecycle.

  • Strategize and manage the product roadmap, collaborating with Offering Managers, Product Leaders, and Delivery teams.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

  • Champion the adoption of Product Management best practices to optimize product performance and innovation.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, and business analysts.

  • Act as a liaison between account teams, project teams, and customers, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.

  • Ensure effective cross-functional team management to drive project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Execution & Delivery:

  • Drive release planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with SAFe Agile practices.

  • Ensure timely delivery of the product roadmap and alignment with strategic business objectives.

Insurance & Data Expertise:

  • Bring deep Life & Annuity domain expertise, with a strong understanding of the full insurance value chain—including underwriting and new business, policy administration and servicing, claims and benefits, and regulatory obligations—shaped by hands‑on experience supporting modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Own and drive product execution, guiding requirements definition and the product roadmap across Life & Annuity capabilities such as pricing and actuarial inputs, underwriting, policy administration, claims and benefits processing, regulatory reporting, and analytics/insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and product management.

  • Proven experience in Life and Annuity insurance, conversions and Agile delivery.

  • Strong understanding of the Life and Annuity space in North America.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
