About the Role:
Furniture Mart and NOLA Throws in Gretna, LA are looking for a creative and driven Part Time Marketing Specialist to help grow our brands and connect with customers in exciting new ways. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your marketing talents to a dynamic retail environment where your ideas will make a real impact. Position is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits for photography and video production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Manage and create content for social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness
- Assist in planning and promoting in-store events and seasonal sales
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and report on campaign results
- Support email marketing initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners on advertising and promotional materials
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Graphic design skills; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
