Job Summary
We are hiring a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives. This role focuses on customer engagement, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and brand awareness. The position is based in-office in Jersey City and is suited for candidates interested in building experience in marketing, business development, and digital marketing operations.
Marketing Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and activate marketing campaigns
- Monitor customer sentiment
- Assist with content optimization using tags, keywords, and basic SEO practices
- Manage content scheduling tools including HootSuite
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
- Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Support the development of blog posts, captions, and basic marketing copy
- Design simple graphics and visual content using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Assist with active customer engagement
- Utilize marketing strategies to increase sales
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing team
Marketing Assistant Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant field of study in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with customer engagement strategies
- Basic understanding of content creation, branding, and digital marketing concepts
- Experience with design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Familiarity with strategic sales is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to proofread and edit content effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an office environment
- Must be able to work in-office in Jersey City, NJ
