Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll have

We are looking for a skilled (Senior) Backend Engineer to join one of our cross-functional product teams. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. This position is embedded in ongoing client projects and will be closely integrated into our ways of working.

Position – how you’ll contribute

  • Self-organization & Precision: You work independently and precisely, planning your tasks thoroughly and proactively.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: You keep your finger on the pulse, staying informed about current trends in your field. You bring this knowledge into your work and team, making suggestions for potential innovations.
  • Resilience: You write highly resilient code.
  • Security: You are capable of identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Software Patterns: You understand the fundamentals of software design patterns and are able to apply them within the project.
  • Performance: You are capable of analyzing and troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Testing: You can write tests for complex scenarios and analyze the results.
  • Metrics (Maintainability, Complexity, etc.): You can interpret code metrics and derive actionable improvements for your software.
  • Problem-Solving: When you spot a challenge or a problem, you actively work toward a solution and support others in doing so.
