1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Digital Jobs Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on digitaljobs.com. It covers browsing jobs, signing in, submitting applications and using employer payment features. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
2. What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They can help a website recognise a signed-in user, keep a form working or measure visits. Some cookies are set on our domain; third-party services can also set cookies on their own domains.
We also use browser session storage for temporary voice-search results. Session storage is separate from cookies and normally ends when you close the browser tab. Tracking pixels and scripts can send information about a visit to a service provider, even where your browser blocks that provider’s cookies.
3. Accounts, applications and security
Some storage is necessary to provide a feature you request, such as signing in or submitting a job application. Security services also help protect the website against automated abuse. Blocking this storage can prevent those features from working.
Google and LinkedIn may use their own cookies when you visit their services to sign in. Their privacy and cookie notices apply to those services. Choosing social sign-in is separate from agreeing to advertising cookies.
4. Voice search and preferences
When you use voice search, we store the returned job results and pagination information in your browser tab under jobsworth.voiceResults.v1. This lets you return from a job detail page without repeating the search. Results are treated as expired after two hours and are removed when expired results are checked, when you clear the results, or when the browser ends that tab’s session.
Voice search uses ElevenLabs. Starting a voice conversation involves that service and your browser’s microphone permission. Microphone permission is a separate choice from cookie consent. See ElevenLabs’ Privacy Policy for information about its service.
5. Analytics and advertising
Our website includes Google Analytics 4 to measure website usage and an X (formerly Twitter) advertising pixel to measure advertising activity. These services can receive information such as the page visited, browser information and identifiers. Advertising activity is separate from the cookies needed to sign in or apply for a job.
The cookie names above are examples associated with the services used on the site. They may not all be present on your device: browser protections, your choices and provider settings affect which cookies are stored and how long they remain.
6. Employer payments
Our employer checkout integrates Stripe. When Stripe payment features are used, Stripe can use cookies and similar technologies to support payments and detect fraud. These payment and security purposes are separate from optional advertising.
Stripe’s fraud-prevention cookies can include __stripe_mid (typically one year) and __stripe_sid (typically 30 minutes). Other storage may be used by Stripe’s payment services. The exact storage depends on the payment feature, provider settings and your browser. See Stripe’s Cookie Policy and Stripe’s cookie details.
Cookies on an external payment or employer website are controlled by that provider. If you follow an external application link, review the destination website’s cookie and privacy notices.
7. Your cookie choices
Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you request do not generally require cookie consent. Advertising cookies require consent, and analytics or preference storage may also require consent depending on its purpose and the applicable rules. Continuing to browse this website does not itself give consent to cookies that require it.
A site-wide cookie preferences panel is not currently available. You can use your browser’s privacy settings to view, delete or block cookies and site data, including third-party cookies. Browser controls do not replace our responsibility to obtain consent where it is required. Deleting account or form cookies may sign you out or interrupt an application or payment.
For browser-specific instructions, see Chrome, Safari or Firefox. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.
8. Updates and contact
We will update this policy when our use of cookies, providers or cookie controls changes. The date at the top of the page shows when the policy was last updated.
