About the role
We are looking for a talented SAP Data Solution Architect to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for Cummins, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA preferred, on a remote basis.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Define system architecture by breaking down components, assigning functionality, and establishing interfaces across systems and components.
- Develop and maintain reusable standards, design patterns, and configurations as scalable building blocks.
- Partner with project and product teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct complex cost/benefit analyses to evaluate and recommend future-state capabilities.
- Lead the creation of architectural governing principles to guide enterprise-wide solution decisions and change management.
- Audit solution designs to ensure alignment with established architecture standards and patterns.
- Monitor system performance and proactively mitigate risks when introducing new capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and industry experts to shape future-state architecture, develop roadmaps, and stay current on industry trends.
