The Role:This role is for someone who supports and improves complex infrastructure and integration environments with a focus on networking, security, and mail systems.
The Person:The person will advise customers, carry out remote installations, provide third-level support for gateways, help develop and test appliances, and maintain operating documentation.
Requirements:The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of network and security protocols, LDAP and Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft 365, plus DNS troubleshooting and mailflow.

Deine Aufgaben:

Kundenberatung & Begleitung durch den Installationsprozess
Inbetriebnahme von Kundeninstallationen per Fernwartung
3rd-Level Support für Gateways inkl. Analyse von Netzwerk-, Security- und Mailflow-Problemen
Mitwirkung bei Entwicklung und Testing von Appliances
Erstellung und Pflege von Betriebsdokumentationen

Requirements

Fundierte Kenntnisse in Netzwerk & Security: Protokolle, Authentifizierung und Verschlüsselung (SSH/SCP, SSL, NTLM/Kerberos), Netzwerkdesign und -betrieb (Subnetting, Routing, Firewalls), Verzeichnisdienste und Web-Technologien (LDAP/AD, HTTP/S, SAML, APIs) sowie DNS-Troubleshooting (Records, Zonen, Mail-Setup)
Erfahrung in Virtualisierung & Infrastruktur: VMware (Deployment, Betrieb, Backup von VMs), virtuelle Netzwerke (Switches, Bridges, Interfaces) sowie Cluster-Setups – idealerweise ergänzt durch Kenntnisse in Hyper-V oder KVM
Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft & Active Directory: AD, GPOs, typische Serverrollen, Windows-Umgebungen (inkl. Registry) und Grundkenntnisse in Microsoft Defender
Solides Verständnis von Mail & Messaging: Mailflow, SMTP, IMAP, M365, Mail-DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM), moderne Mailstrukturen (Alias, Routing, Verteiler) sowie Microsoft 365 (Rules, Connectoren)
