About the role

As a Senior Quality Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products and processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will impact product quality and operational excellence by identifying quality issues, leading root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Your efforts will help Honeywell maintain its reputation for delivering superior products and services to our customers.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirement
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance product quality

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or related roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards
  • Proficiency in quality tools including root cause analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and corrective/preventive action processes

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability industries
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
  • Proficient in Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies and certifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
