- The Role:This role is for an experienced manufacturing engineer supporting aerospace production lines and process improvement in a cleanroom environment.
- The Person:The person will support test and manufacturing work, analyze yield and performance data, investigate technical issues, improve product and process design, develop cleaning and deposition processes, and maintain test equipment and preventive maintenance plans.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, 3+ years experience or an advanced degree, and experience with product and process engineering, thin film deposition, optics, laser systems, high vacuum systems, Root Cause Corrective Action, Lean, and Six Sigma.
About the role
The ISC Engineering Mirror team is looking for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing engineer the mirror fab area
Responsibilities
• Provide test and manufacturing support for sub components in the Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production lines.
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Assist development of new processes for cleaning glass substrates for thin film deposition.
• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
Qualifications
MUST HAVEÂ Â
 • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• 3+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering discipline

• Experience with thin film deposition, optics, laser systems, high vacuum systems.

The annual base salary range for this position is $109,000 - $136,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
