As a Sr. Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in product engineering, design and development of advanced hardware solutions. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovative projects that enhance our product offerings and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform product engineering role for various Modular Avionics Unit (MAU) sub-assembly end items
- Lead the design and development of advanced hardware systems for aerospace applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hardware performance and reliability.
Report to: Engineering Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Shift: M-F hybrid after 90 days
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Experience in the Product Engineering role, including: creating M.I.s/Deviations; The Teamcenter IR/ECN process, MOD Board, Change Impact Analysis process, and Configuration Management tools
- Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, with experience in hardware testing and validation.
- Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with relevant design tools and technologies.
