Job Mission:

The Enterprise Integration Architect is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise architecture and integration landscape across Kia Europe, ensuring technology strategy, standards, and investments support business objectives and digital transformation priorities. Working closely with IT teams, business leaders, National Sales Companies (NSCs), Kia Europe, and Global ICT, the role establishes architecture principles, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps that enable secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.

The role provides strategic architectural leadership across applications, data, platforms, and integrations, ensuring a connected and efficient technology ecosystem spanning local, regional, and global environments. Through effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and technology innovation, the Enterprise Integration Architect drives modernization, strengthens interoperability, optimizes the application landscape, and supports the successful delivery of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and long-term business growth.

In addition to their primary role, the individual is responsible for overseeing the direction, delivery, and operational performance of a portfolio of digital solutions. This includes acting as a senior IT business partner and technical authority, aligning regional business priorities with global product strategies, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing suppliers and delivery resources, and ensuring solutions are successfully delivered and transitioned into stable operations.

Requirements (Education/Experience/Skills):

• Broad knowledge of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data management, scalability, infrastructure, and enterprise applications such as SAP and Saleforce.

• TOGAF, Zachman, or similar Enterprise Architecture certification is a plus.

• Understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, and system interoperability across regional and global environments.

• Proven ability to lead transformation programs involving cloud, automation, AI, data platforms, and process

  modernization.

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience operating across local, regional, and global IT or organizations.

• Proven delivery of large-scale transformation programs.

Main responsibilities/ Tasks:

• Enterprise Architecture Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, principles, standards, and target-state architecture. Develop and manage the regional technology roadmap aligned to business priorities and corporate strategy. Ensure technology investments support long-term business objectives and digital transformation goals.

• Business and IT Alignment: Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives, business capabilities, and transformation requirements. Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology architectures. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on technology opportunities, risks, and investment decisions.

• Integration Architecture & Platform Governance: Define and govern enterprise integration standards, patterns, APIs, and middleware frameworks. Ensure seamless integration between local, regional, and global systems. Promote reusable integration services and standardized connectivity models across the enterprise.

• Architecture Governance & Compliance: Establish and operate architecture review boards, governance processes, and approval frameworks. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations. Monitor and enforce adherence to approved architectural principles across projects and platforms.

• Application & Technology Portfolio Management: Maintain visibility of the enterprise application landscape and technology portfolio. Identify opportunities to simplify, modernize, rationalize, and standardize systems. Manage application lifecycle planning, technical debt reduction, and platform modernization initiatives.

• Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead architecture activities supporting business transformation programs and strategic initiatives. Identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities that create business value. Drive adoption of cloud, automation, AI, data, and integration capabilities where appropriate.

• Solution Assurance: Review solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles. Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, maintainable, and cost-effective.

• Data & Information Architecture: Support enterprise data-sharing strategies across local, regional, and global environments. Ensure integration architectures support data quality, governance, and business intelligence objectives. Collaborate with data teams to establish consistent information management standards.

• Vendor & Technology Partner Management: Evaluate technology solutions, strategic suppliers, and architecture-related proposals. Support technology selection processes and architectural due diligence activities. Ensure external partners adhere to enterprise standards and integration requirements.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership: Collaborate with Global ICT, regional IT functions, NSCs, business leadership, and external partners. Influence strategic technology decisions across the enterprise. Mentor solution architects, technical leads, and project teams on architecture best practices

• As a part of a global team, you will be responsible for enterprise architecture management (including business IT alignment and analysis of the application portfolio) and derive IT strategies from business requirements for Kia Europe.

• Lead IT transformation programs passionate about optimizing the application portfolio to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure interoperability of different applications within the enterprise according to modern integration pattern and domain driven design.

• Engage with key collaborators to establish IT as enabler and partner for value proposition, and ensure that enterprise architecture initiatives meet business needs.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, automation, and business teams to ensure smooth on-boarding of platforms and systems.

• Oversee all outage communications, ensuring accurate and timely information flow to executive stakeholders during incidents or system disruptions.

• Manage and approve all systems changes, maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards and minimizing business risk.

• Run and oversee integration operations, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of interfaces and connected systems across the enterprise.

• Partner with IT Operations and Service Management teams to ensure high availability, resilience, and rapid recovery of mission-critical systems.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system uptime, change quality, and integration efficiency.

Key Responsibilities (Summary):

• Own and govern the digital solutions portfolio, including strategy, roadmap, priorities, lifecycle management, and delivery of measurable business outcomes.

• Act as the senior IT business partner and technical authority, translating business strategy into technology initiatives while ensuring alignment across architecture, integration, security, data, and operational standards.

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery, overseeing planning, implementation, rollout, transition to operations, service performance, and continuous improvement across European markets.

• Manage portfolio financials and resources, including budgets, forecasts, business planning, capacity management, cost optimization, and benefits realization.

• Drive stakeholder and supplier governance, collaborating with HQ, regional business functions, NSCs, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage risks, and ensure delivery excellence.

• Establish robust operational and governance frameworks, including service KPIs, portfolio reporting, risk and dependency management, rollout standards, application ownership, and continuous innovation initiatives.
