About the Role:
Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Manager of Audience Marketing to join our Consumer Subscriptions team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving audience growth and consideration across Dow Jones media properties, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and MarketWatch. You will work closely with stakeholders across the newsroom and marketing as well as managing one direct report. The right candidate will be a team player, have excellent stakeholder management skills, is a great people manager and has a deep appreciation for business journalism coupled with a performance marketing mindset.
You Will:

Work closely with paid media partners as well as other stakeholders across the business to build Dow Jones's audience marketing strategy and drive consideration. Build a strategy that results in long term downstream efficiencies but also optimizes for immediate provable impact.

Own all lead generation marketing including free registrations and newsletter sign ups. Build and test pre- and post-lead capture marketing journeys.

Work closely with the wider Audience Development team to ensure alignment of organic growth and paid marketing strategies.

Develop and own the roadmap for testing the effectiveness of various lead generation tactics, content themes, messaging frameworks, and content-to-subscription pathways.

Own the monetization of newsletters within the consumer subscriptions divisions, driving paid marketing campaigns and working with key stakeholders across the newsroom and marketing to support newsletter growth initiatives

Work with data teams to own creation and distribution of reporting to track consideration impact within the wider user purchase funnel.

Be an empathetic people manager with solid experience growing their direct reports.
You Have:

8-10 years of experience in lead generation, subscription marketing, audience development or performance marketing

Empathetic people management skills with solid experience growing direct reports

Comfortability working with data and deriving insights to optimize your campaigns

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Comfortability working cross-functionally and communicating across disciplines.

Strategic thinking skills with proven ability to ideate and bring to life marketing strategies

Base Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00
