Senior Manager, Data Engineering
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-based lakehouse and data warehouse solutions using Databricks and AWS.
- Design and optimize existing and future enterprise data models and semantic layers.
- Build and maintain high-performance batch and real-time data pipelines, including ETL/ELT and streaming solutions.
- Implement effective data quality frameworks, monitoring, and observability.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and DataOps best practices for automated, reliable, and secure deployment.
- Implement enterprise data governance standards, including cataloging, lineage, metadata management, and data access controls.
- Design and implement strong security and role-based access management across enterprise data platforms.
- Build governed, AI-ready data foundations that enable self-service analytics, AI-assisted data exploration, and advanced analysis using capabilities such as Databricks Genie and Genie Code.
- Enable business, engineering, and analytics teams to securely access trusted enterprise data and leverage conversational analytics and AI-assisted analysis while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and data quality controls.
- Build the data foundation required for AI, automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, setting technical standards and engineering best practices.
- Champion a culture of data excellence, accountability, self-service enablement, and continuous innovation.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
- Deep expertise in SQL, cloud data platforms, and distributed data processing frameworks.

Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Experience building governed data platforms and data products that support self-service analytics, AI-assisted analytics, machine learning, and advanced analytical workloads.
- Experience with Databricks capabilities, including lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, and AI-assisted analytics capabilities such as Genie and Genie Code, is preferred.

Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling, including dimensional modeling and semantic layers.
- Experience with orchestration tools and data pipeline automation.
- Proven ability to build scalable, secure, governed, and reliable enterprise data solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally with business, engineering, analytics, and technology teams.
Pay Range:
P70-USA-1 :$134,750.00 - $192,500.00
