About the role
Company Overview
At Bridgenext, we engineer Growth Operating Systems. Most enterprises have spent millions on their revenue stack and still aren't seeing the growth they expected. They have tools that function, but no system that wins. We help growth-hungry companies close that gap by turning fragmented platforms, siloed teams, and disconnected data into one integrated Growth OS. More than a technology company or marketing agency, we're a global digital consultancy with experts in engineering, data, AI, creative and more.
Our teams are made up of experts who believe in engineering impact, starting with putting people at the center of everything we do. Every team member directly shapes our work, culture, and values. Nothing matters more to us than a kind, respectful, fulfilling environment that supports everyone. Our flexible, inclusive culture gives you the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to thrive.
Position Description
We're seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer (GenAI) to join our project team building an AI-first platform on Microsoft Azure for our multinational professional services client. This role blends hands-on GenAI/agent development with strong software engineering fundamentals, in a team that values fast iteration, rigorous testing, and close collaboration with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build GenAI features on Azure AI Foundry — implementing and iterating on agents, including system prompt design, tool/function calling, and multi-step agent orchestration
- Bring engineering rigor to non-deterministic systems: design evals, measure output quality, and catch regressions through automated testing and CI
- Leverage AI coding tools and agents (e.g., Factory/Droid, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery, applying sound judgment on model trade-offs and when to use each
- Contribute to our .NET microservices architecture on Azure, including deployment and maintenance across environments
- Improve repository workflows and CI/CD pipelines to reduce friction and keep the team shipping cleanly
- Partner with project leadership to iterate quickly and stay aligned with client requirements
Workplace: This is a remote position for candidates based in Colombia or Argentina only
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Hands-on experience building LLM/agent features on Azure AI Foundry (or equivalent), with a solid grasp of agent fundamentals: system prompts, tool/function calling, and orchestration
- Familiarity with evaluating AI systems — designing evals, measuring output quality, and regression testing
- Expert-level usage of AI coding assistants/agents (e.g., Factory, Droid, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery
- Experience with Azure DevOps — repository management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configuration
- Strong understanding of cloud-native and microservices architectures
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of RAG architectures and large-scale document processing
- Experience with Semantic Kernel or similar agent/orchestration frameworks
- Familiarity with Streamlit or similar tools for rapid prototyping and client demos
