- The Role:This role is for an engineer who verifies embedded firmware and software for battery technology products at Apple.
- The Person:The person will architect, implement and maintain a verification system to support testing of complex firmware and software while working with multi-functional teams and other product development groups.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has experience programming in C and Python, working with micro-controllers, using JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes or logic analyzers, Pytest, Jenkins, low-pin-count communication buses, RTOS and ARM architecture.

Description
In this role, you will work with multi-functional teams to architect, implement, and maintain a verification system to support testing of complex firmware/software. You'll help us innovate new battery technologies that continually outperforms the previous iterations. By collaborating with other product development groups across Apple, you’ll push the industry boundaries of what batteries can do and improve the product experience for our customers across the world.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience programming in C and Python.
Experience working with micro-controllers.
Experience with development tools such as JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree and 3+ years relevant industry experience.
Experience designing, developing, or maintaining test suits using Pytest or other framework.
Experience setting up, integrating, or maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in low-pin-count communication buses such as I2C, UART, SPI.
RTOS experience.
Understanding of ARM architecture.
