- The Role:This role is for a marketing data analyst focused on Global Partnerships and publisher strategy at Google.
- The Person:The person will analyze marketing channel performance, lead experimentation and incrementality analyses, develop data pipelines and dashboards, study customer journeys, and work across Marketing, Product, Legal, and Sales teams.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, SQL, data visualization, statistical concepts, data warehousing or data modeling, and big data technologies.
About the role
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- 2 years of experience in SQL and data visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
- Experience with statistical concepts to lead experimentation frameworks (including A/B and incrementality tests) to measure and drive conversion funnel performance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data warehousing or data modeling concepts.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R).
- Experience with translating business requirements to BI solutions.
- Experience with explaining technical analysis to stakeholders.
- Experience with growth and scaled marketing channels.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $96000 - $136000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:
- Analyze marketing channel performance to optimize growth strategies across key scaled channels, such as email, events, social media, websites, etc., and identify new opportunities to grow via data-driven recommendations.
- Lead campaign experimentation and incrementality analyses to measure business impact of marketing efforts and inform future investments to maximize impact of marketing spend.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and infrastructure to automate marketing operations and provide insight into business and campaign performance.
- Develop a nuanced understanding of customer user journeys through customer research and data analysis to provide actionable market and customer insights for our marketing programs.
- Cross-collaborate across Marketing, Product, Legal, and Sales teams across a variety of work streams while adhering to Google brand guidelines.
