Managing Consultant – Cloud Data Engineer | Melbourne.

We're looking for a Managing Consultant who can bridge the gap between strong technical delivery and trusted client advisory.

You'll lead modern Data & Analytics engagements while remaining close enough to the technology to challenge designs, shape architecture and help teams make good engineering decisions.

If you're at the point in your career where you want more ownership and influence without moving completely away from technical work, this role is designed for that.

What you'll do

• Lead Data & Analytics projects from discovery through delivery.
• Design modern, scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Work across data engineering, warehousing, integration, analytics, and cloud platforms.
• Lead small-to-medium delivery teams.
• Coach and mentor other consultants.
• Work directly with senior client stakeholders.
• Help shape proposals and technical approaches.
• Contribute to Altis methodologies and capability development.

What you'll bring

We're interested in people with experience across areas such as:

• Modern data engineering
• Data modelling and architecture
• Cloud data platforms experience - Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, Azure or AWS
  
• dbt experience
• Data integration and ETL/ELT
• BI and analytics ecosystems
• Technical project leadership
• Client-facing consulting

You don't have to tick every box. Strong technical fundamentals, sound judgement, and the ability to create confidence with clients matter more than matching a checklist.
