About the role

Sterling Ridge Group Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support across multiple business locations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys troubleshooting technology, supporting users, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including user account creation, password resets, and troubleshooting.
  • Support VoIP phone systems, Teams, email, and remote access solutions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, including switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and IT inventory.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party support providers as required.
  • Travel occasionally between company locations to provide on-site support.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of VoIP phone systems.
  • Experience with device management platforms and endpoint security solutions.
  • Familiarity with construction, industrial, or multi-site environments is considered an asset.

Location: Windsor / LaSalle, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000, based on experience
