What Will You Do?

  • Hardware-in-Loop – This will be the primary project for the co-op. Convert existing test systems to a new architecture, write new tests to expand coverage, review and execute regression tests.
  • In addition to the test system design project:
  • Component Testing Project(s)
  • Creating test plans for electronic and mechatronic components 
  • Analyze test results to identify trends and failure modes 
  • Report test results and design recommendations 
  • Assist with other mechatronics projects as needed. 

What Do You Need?

  • Preferred Majors: 2+ Years Completed of an ABET-accredited Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering. 
  • Must be enrolled in a two semester (Spring-Summer) Co-Op program.
  • Preferred Skills: Python, Arduino, LabVIEW, TestStand, Microsoft Office Suite, Soldering, Wiring, Electrical Schematics, DC Circuits, Embedded Systems 
  • Characteristics: Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Accountability
