About the role
Starting at the nearest possible date, we are looking for a PhD/Junior Researcher or PostDoc/Senior Researcher (m/f/d) - Mathematical Research Data Initiative to join our team at our Berlin site.
Â
The Research and Projects Mathematics department develops the next generation of open information infrastructures for mathematics and other Open-Science-oriented research disciplines. Our work helps make research information available in a reliable, machine-readable, traceable, and digitally sovereign way. We research scalable methods in NLP and information retrieval to extract structured information from publications, research data, and research software and to aggregate it, for example, in Scientific Knowledge Graphs. In addition, we develop new digital research and publication formats such as nanopublications and Jupyter Notebooks. To make these methods available to all researchers and usable in practice, we develop decentralized approaches for operating scientific information infrastructure. This strengthens research security, resilience, and digital sovereignty.
