About the role

About the company

Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead a product area from planning through launch, shaping priorities and making sure releases perform as intended. Collaborate closely with senior engineers and product leadership, converting customer and stakeholder input into clear plans. Also guide a more junior product manager.

What you'll do

- Take responsibility for results and success metrics in a defined product area, beyond simply delivering features.

- Develop, prioritize and advocate for the roadmap within the direction set by product leadership.

- Work with senior engineers daily and weigh technical tradeoffs together rather than passing off tasks.

- Lead discovery work and convert customer and stakeholder feedback into a well-reasoned plan.

- Coach a junior product manager working in the same area.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Proven record of independently running a product or product area from concept to results, whether at a startup or a large technology firm.

- Experience building or launching conversational AI, contact center technology or other sophisticated AI products.

- Direct collaboration with engineers on technical decisions, such as through a technical PM role, an engineering background or a deeply technical product.

- Bachelor's degree.

- Daily practical use of AI-native tools, for example creating prototypes with AI coding assistants.

- Roughly 3 to 5 years of product management experience.

Bonus points

- Exposure to business-to-business or highly regulated environments.

- Prior software engineering experience or a computer science degree.
