- The Role:This role is for a bilingual English and French finance professional supporting customer account collections at a North American shipping, industrial, and packaging materials distributor.
- The Person:The person will manage customer account portfolios, resolve overdue balances with customers, document collection activity, coordinate with internal teams to reduce aging and bad debt, and identify process and customer experience improvements.
- Requirements:Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English and French, have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and preferably have at least one year of collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM
Position Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, building relationships via phone and email.
- Resolve past-due balances by identifying root causes and partnering with customers on payment solutions.
- Maintain accurate account records, documenting collection activity and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with Cash Applications, Credit, Customer Service and Sales teams to reduce aging and minimize bad debt.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual (English / French) - fluent in both verbal and written forms.
- 1+ years of collections, accounts receivable or customer service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
