The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own backend services for a software platform, working across data flows, APIs and background processing. You will partner with senior engineers and take on real features from the start with growing independence.
What you'll do
- Take backend features from design to release, including data handling, service interfaces and asynchronous jobs.
- Build dependable processing pipelines that cope with messy, unpredictable inputs.
- Apply sound security practices such as restricted access, customer data separation and audit trails.
- Weigh long-term design against fast delivery, making sensible technical debt decisions with input from senior colleagues.
- Collaborate with backend, product and infrastructure peers to convert loosely defined requests into clear technical plans.

- Comfort with a high-ownership setting where you drive work forward with growing autonomy.
- Ability to work in the office 4 days per week.
- Willingness to help across the stack while staying backend-focused.
