This listing is for one paid task in the Kled app: "Capture NYC Street Potholes". There is no interview and no minimum hours: download the app, open the task, and you are paid per accepted submission.

What you will do

Photograph potholes on New York City streets in the app, with your location verified. A second shot of the street around it is welcome.

Steps

  1. Open the task in New York City, where your location is verified

  2. Photograph the pothole from the sidewalk

  3. Add a second frame showing the street around it

  4. Upload

What gets rejected

  • Do not step into traffic

  • Do not upload old photos from your camera roll

  • Do not photograph people or license plates as the subject

Pay

$0.60 per accepted pothole. At a typical pace of about 2 minutes per pothole, that is about $18 per hour. A 20-minute session of about 10 potholes pays about $6.00. No fixed cap; each photo is reviewed. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid. Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet).

Where and when

You need to be in New York City; the app verifies your location when you open the task. On your own schedule. Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.

  • An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now)

  • 18 or older

  • Your phone camera, used inside the Kled app

How to start

  1. Download Kled from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/kled/id6752585718 (also at kled.ai/app).

  2. Create your account and open Tasks.

  3. Search "Capture NYC Street Potholes", read the brief and follow the on-screen steps.

  4. Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
