  • The Role:This role is for a mid-level Java developer building and enhancing systems for client projects serving financial services, telecommunications, automotive and energy sectors.
  • The Person:The developer will design and build systems, enhance applications, develop and test functionality, contribute across project lifecycles, troubleshoot defects, work on database design, and collaborate with the team.
  • Requirements:The role requires 2–3 years of Java development, Java 21+, Spring Boot, SQL, Maven, REST APIs, JSON, Git, Docker or Podman, and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and development of systems with a significant presence in both the Hungarian and international markets.
  • Enhance existing applications and develop and test new functionalities.
  • Contribute to IT projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from planning to implementation.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and fix software defects.
  • Participate in database design and development.
  • Collaborate closely with team members in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Requirements:

  • At least 2–3 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following technologies:

    • Java 21+

    • Spring Boot

    • SQL

    • Maven

    • REST APIs and JSON

    • Git

    • Docker and/or Podman

    • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
    • Ability to solve problems independently.
    • Attention to detail and a precise approach to work.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Knowledge of English.

    • Advantages:

  • Experience in application design and development within a large enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience developing high-load, high-performance systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases.
  • Experience with SonarQube.
  • Experience with Redis and Kubernetes.
