Location: London

Hybrid / office-based: 3-in, 2-out.

3S Money is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to support the development and ongoing management of its credit risk framework for clients using FX Forward products. This is an end-to-end credit risk role covering the assessment, approval and ongoing monitoring of clients that require credit exposure to undertake FX Forward transactions. The role will help establish a robust and proportionate credit risk framework, assess individual counterparties, set appropriate credit limits within delegated authority, monitor utilisation and exposure, and ensure that changes in client circumstances or risk are identified and acted upon promptly. The role reports to the Head of Risk and will work closely with FX Trading, Risk, Compliance and relevant commercial and operational teams.

What you’ll be doing

·       Help develop and maintain the credit risk framework for FX Forward clients.

·       Perform credit assessments for clients seeking access to FX Forward products.

·       Review financial and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness and counterparty risk.

·       Approve clients and set credit limits within delegated authority, escalating where required.

·       Maintain and monitor the approved credit list, client limits, utilisation and exposures.

·       Conduct ongoing and periodic reviews of approved clients.

·       Identify and escalate limit breaches, deteriorating credit quality and material changes in risk.

·       Recommend changes, reductions or withdrawal of limits where appropriate.

·       Maintain clear records of credit assessments, decisions and approvals.

·       Provide credit risk reporting and portfolio oversight to the Head of Risk.

About you, you have

·       Experience in credit risk within financial services.

·       Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills.

·       Experience setting credit limits and monitoring client exposures.

·       FX or FX Forwards experience would be an advantage.

·       Strong analytical skills and sound risk judgement.

·       Able to make clear, independent and well-supported credit decisions.
