- The Role:This role leads a Cyber Defense Center for a major steel producer and covers cyber security responsibility for the organisation.
- The Person:The person will lead the Cyber Defense Center team, handle security monitoring and incident response, manage cyber incidents and crisis situations, and develop cyber security strategy, architecture and standards.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has several years of professional and leadership experience in Cyber Security, SOC or Cyber Defense, plus SIEM, Security Monitoring, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management and Netzwerksicherheit.

Your Responsibilities
- Fachliche Leitung des Cyber Defense Centers (CDC) inklusive Führung und Weiterentwicklung des Teams
- Verantwortung für Security Monitoring, SIEM, Threat Detection und Incident Response als operativer Kern der Rolle
- Leitung der Reaktion auf Cyber-Sicherheitsvorfälle einschließlich Krisenmanagement mit Entscheidungsverantwortung in kritischen Lagen
- Weiterentwicklung der Cyber-Security-Strategie, Zielarchitektur und technischen Sicherheitsstandards sowie Steuerung der Security-Plattformen und -Services
- Vulnerability Management, technische Sicherheitsbewertungen und Cyber-Lagebilder inklusive Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen
- Schnittstellenfunktion und Beratung gegenüber Management, Fachbereichen, ISO/TISO, Konzern-CDC sowie externen Security-Dienstleistern
Your Profile
- Studium der Informatik/IT-Sicherheit oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufs- und Führungserfahrung in Cyber Security, SOC oder Cyber Defense, idealerweise mit Erfahrung im Aufbau und Betrieb eines CDC/SOC
- Fundierte Fachkenntnisse in SIEM, Security Monitoring, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management und Netzwerksicherheit
- Sehr gutes Verständnis moderner Security-Architekturen und Bedrohungsszenarien kombiniert mit analytischer, strukturierter Arbeitsweise
- Hohe Entscheidungs- und Handlungssicherheit unter Zeitdruck sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Führungsstärke im Stakeholder-Management
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
