POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Communications Intern will take direction from the Marketing and Communications team, along with the internal and external departments and divisions of the organization. This position is responsible for helping coordinate both internal communications to the team as well as external communications including social media, newsletters, video editing, advertisements, and website updates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the newsletter, magazine, and press release writing and development.
- Utilize and enhance your graphic design skills through a variety of projects.
- Develop, design, and coordinate a social media campaign.
- Creatively produce photography, videography, and public relations projects and products.
- Build relationships with internal and external business divisions and stakeholders.
- Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrollment towards a communication (Mass Comm., Ag Comm., PR & Advertising), marketing, or graphic design degree.
- Knowledge of different social media platforms.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively in English in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to perform detailed work accurately and independently with minimal direction or supervision.
- Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- English proficiency.
- Valid Driver's License.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites would be a bonus but not required.
