Signal and Power Integrity Engineer (SI/PI) - Apple Vision Pro: our view in 3 lines...
- The Role:An engineer specializing in signal and power integrity for high-speed interfaces in portable consumer electronics products such as Apple Vision Pro.
- The Person:Design, model, simulate, test, and validate signal and power integrity for high-speed interfaces and PDNs, perform feasibility and sign-off, collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams, and support manufacturing yield and EMI/desense issues.
- Requirements:Experience with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity for high-speed SerDes and parallel buses, EM and circuit simulation tools like Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, CST, ADS/Spice/Spectre, Cadence/Sigrity, scripting languages Python and Perl, and measurement tools VNA, spectrum analyzer, TDR, and oscilloscope.
About the role
We’re a diverse collection of thinkers and doers, continually reimagining what’s possible to help us all do what we love in new ways. The people who work here have reinvented entire industries with the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, as well as with services, including iTunes, the App Store, Apple Music, and Apple Pay. And the same passion for innovation that goes into our products also applies to our practices — strengthening our commitment to leave the world better than we found it.
We are seeking a Signal and Power Integrity engineer with strong capabilities in SI/PI aspects of architectural direction and product development. The candidate must have knowledge of all aspects of Signal and Power Integrity for high-speed SerDes, parallel bus, memory, flexes deployed in portable consumer electronics devices, and system power delivery network (PDN). The engineer will play an integral role in developing innovative technologies and new products.
