- The Role:Senior full-stack software engineering role focused on Go backend services and React interfaces for a high-throughput product environment.
- The Person:The person will own product initiatives end to end, shape technical solutions, build and launch Go backend services and React interfaces, review code, reduce technical debt, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Engineering.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has 4 to 6 years of software engineering experience, strong hands-on proficiency in Go, good React.js and JavaScript capabilities, and experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Redis, Datadog, Kibana, and New Relic.
About the role
This is a high-impact role for an engineer who goes beyond simply implementing requirements. You will identify problems, understand customer needs, shape solutions, and own outcomes end-to-end from technical design and implementation to rollout and iteration.
While this is a full-stack position, the primary focus will be on building and evolving our high-throughput Go microservices ecosystem, powering millions of critical daily interactions, while contributing to intuitive React experiences where needed.
We are looking for someone who thinks like a builder and acts like an owner, proactively identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, making pragmatic decisions, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into simple, scalable solutions.
