Job Description:

Contributing Responsibilities 

• To Train newcomers / Juniors for functional and technical knowledge 

• To improve the existing process  

• To suggest / provide solution to improve application performance wherever applicable 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies 

• Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) with a good background of software development with a minimum IT experience of 7-10 years preferably in Java/J2EE applications 

Specific Qualifications: N/A 

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities) 

Technical Skills: 

Mandatory skills: 

• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, Junit 

• Experience in Web technologies (struts, spring MVC) 

• knowledge in Angular 

• Experience on Hibernate & Spring  

• Exposure to Performance tuning  

• Experience in JDBC skills 

• Experience on SQL (SQL queries, Transact-SQL, stored procedures, functions and database modelling) 

Nice-to-have skills: 

• Experience in Agile (Kanban/Scrum)  

• Knowledge of Webservices, micro services, maven 

• Knowledge of Unix scripting would be an added advantage 

• Development with the use of efficient build practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development is required
