About the Role

Are you passionate about combining creativity with practicality? As a Product Designer Intern, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, improving, and executing furniture designs that are durable, cost-effective, and visually appealing for rental usage. You will work closely with the internal design and operations teams to take ideas from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design innovative, trend-aligned furniture optimized for durability, reusability, and easy maintenance, considering wear and tear in rental usage.
• Review and improve existing furniture products to enhance structural strength, ease of transport, assembly, and visual appeal.
• Suggest smart product add-ons to improve product life and versatility.
• Create detailed technical drawings (CAD/manual) for new designs and product enhancements.
• Coordinate with vendors for material selection and quality checks.
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper execution of designs and resolve on-site issues.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for each design or improvement project, including:
  • Material costs
  • Manufacturing and labor charges
  • Logistics and installation estimates
