Position Summary

Systems Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the Firm’s IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise environments, both on prem and in Microsoft cloud, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and optimizing system performance with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain iManage Work environments and related document management solutions.
• Work with APIs, REST services, connectors, and automation tools to support integration and business workflows.
• Coordinate with iManage support and third-party vendors for escalations and complex technical projects.
• Proven track record as a strong Systems Administrator
• Experience administering enterprise applications, SaaS and On-Prem.
• Current experience as administrator in Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, EntraID, M365).
• Familiarity with InTune MDM preferred.
• Configuring and troubleshooting core services including DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, switches, DNS, load balancers). Citrix Netscaler experience a plus.
• Web server administration experience (IIS, Apache, Tomcat) preferred.
• Work closely with IS Operations and Networking to achieve optimal performance of supported technologies.
• Strong scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, Shell) for automation.
• Quarterly participation in weekly 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications/Position Requirements

Very strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Strong ability to create and maintain detailed system documentation.  In addition, must be a creative thinker with proven problem-solving ability. Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative flat organization.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 10+ years related experience required.
• Experience at a large law firm or professional services organization strongly preferred.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 - $200,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
