  • The Role:This role is for an experienced cybersecurity specialist in banking technology and operations.
  • The Person:The person will develop security strategies, run risk assessments and penetration testing, monitor logs and alerts, respond to incidents, work with cross-functional teams, and provide security awareness training.
  • Requirements:The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in IT security, security monitoring, incident response, threat analysis, and familiarity with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, CISSP, CISA or GIAC.

Business Function

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security best practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threat landscape to continuously improve the organization's security posture
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of security within the organization

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with a strong understanding of security protocols, technologies, and best practices
  • Proficient in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS)
  • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISA, or GIAC, are preferred
