What you will do: As part of the team, you will support the team in shaping and driving key initiatives for DBS’s digital platform strategy within Consumer Banking. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain foundational experience in digital platform management, focusing in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
- Streamline and actively manage the book of work for the Digital Single Backlog, including meticulous monitoring of budgets, app release, and anticipated benefits for all digital releases
- Collaborate with Business, Delivery, and Technology teams to ensure that key strategic and regulatory projects are prioritized, delivered on time, and aligned with the Digital strategy
- Oversee the digital budget management and provide oversight to ensure efficient utilization of resources
- Support monthly SG Initiative forums, providing strategic insights into overall initiatives and enhancement (I&E) spend and utilization
- Instill strong governance on overall Digital Governance Process & Framework and ensure adherence to digital platform policies and standards
- Define business requirements for digital platform initiatives – Review User Stories and design customer journey / employee journey to achieve best-in-class deliverables
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization within the digital landscape
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in budget management, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Proficient in the use of financial reporting and budgeting software, such as Excel and other relevant tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage basic tasks under guidance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
