- The Role:This role is for an iOS developer focused on consumer banking applications within Group Technology.
- The Person:The person will design and build iOS applications, collaborate with Product, UX/UI and backend engineers, write and unit test code, fix bugs and performance issues, and review code while guiding junior developers.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has proven professional experience in iOS application development, with Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, iOS frameworks, RESTful APIs, Git, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and experience with MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.

Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced, secure, and scalable applications for the iOS platform within Consumer Banking Technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX/UI, and Backend Engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system vulnerabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers to maintain high code quality.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest iOS trends, technologies, and Apple guidelines to continuously improve application performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in iOS application development, with a strong portfolio of released applications in the App Store.
- Deep understanding of Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, and iOS frameworks.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
- Experience with modern mobile architectures, such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
