The Role

Carey Building Contractors are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team in Galway City. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Responsibilities

· You will manage and improve all Technology systems in place, keep data secure, and support office and field workers with their IT requirements.

· Manage and administer our Site Induction/Time and attendance software- MSite

· Support users with technical issues related to software in place, ie. Procure, Aconex, Estimate One, Buildsoft, Microsoft Office 365, Sage, Evolution.

· Point of contact for all daily IT issues.

· Establish new employee’s digital setup.

· Collaborating with external IT consultants.

Requirements

· Relevant third level qualification in a Computer Science discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

· A working knowledge of IT systems is essential, particularly Microsoft Office 365.

· A hands on technical approach to problem solving and an ability to collaborate across company teams to modernise IT systems as required.

· 3+ years’ experience in an IT support role.

· Full-time office based position.
